C.S. Osborne No. 509 Sailmaker’s Needles

C.S. Osborne sailmaker’s needles have a triangular point that opens a clean hole through sailcloth, canvas, and webbing, letting heavy waxed thread pull through tightly packed weave. They are used with a sailmaker’s palm for sail repair, boat covers, awnings, tarps, and bags. These No. 509 needles run from 2-1/4" in 17 gauge to 4" in 9 gauge.
