Easy Installation for Tough Fire Protection
Wrap and protect plastic pipes in plenum areas more easily with 3M™ Fire Barrier Plenum Wrap 5A+ (PDF, 317.4 Kb). Consisting of an inorganic fiber blanket encapsulated with a scrim-reinforced foil, this product is used to create a fire-resistive enclosure that can reduce the flame and smoke spread ratings to acceptable levels in return air plenums. 3M constructed this material to be a non-asbestos wrap with a 6 pcf (96 kg/m3) density. The strong, thin and lightweight product is extremely easy to manipulate and install, particularly around pipes and cabling. 3M™ Fire Barrier Plenum Wrap 5A+ is tested to UL 910 (NFPA 262), UL 1887, and ASTM E 84.

• PVC, CPVC, PB, PE, PP, PVDF and ABS pipes in return air plenums
